Size A *(1/2" x 1/2") Authentic Dichroic Alchemy BoroImage™ suitable for most applications: pendants, marbles, etc. Compatible with: Pyrex, Simax, Kimble - Kimax, SCHOTT - Duran, Northstar, Glass Alchemy *any COE 33 borosilicate glass.
ATTN: BoroImages are raw materials for glassblowers & lampwork artists. Basically, this is a 1/2" pane of glass with dichroic coating and a laser-etched image on one side. Not a finished product.
Properly applied (encased within a clear glass lens or marble) this image will appear much larger than actual size.
Photos cannot do justice to the resplendent beauty of these glistening gems. Black & white silhouette is the most effective way to illustrate the fine line detail.
Working with dichroic glass can yield truly amazing results... it also presents some unique challenges for the artist. Just a few helpful hints can make a world of difference.
