We've used just about every glass cleaner on the market. Beyond the elaborate testamonials, they simply contain a solvent (to break down the tar) coupled with an abrasive to get at those places you can't reach. Traditionally these two components come packaged in a single container, making it a one-shot deal (you need to use it all in order to get both parts out of the bottle). The aforementioned packaging was wasteful and generally impractical for the average consumer.
We just knew we could do better than that.
Glass Paradise is pleased to present: FRESHIES™ *The ultimate resin cleaning solution for all your color-changing glass incense burners & accessories.
Quick, incomperable results!
You'll receive two 4 oz. bottles, each containing 1/2 of our two-part formula. See photo above. This 8 oz. kit should be adequate for cleaning one full-sized "tube" incense burner or two standard "genie bottle" incense burners. Subsequent/regular maintenence cleanings will require a significantly smaller amount of FRESHIES™ solution.
Our world-famous incense burners are fumed with pure silver, which makes the glass turn sky blue & violet purple as incense oils accumulate within. Over the years we've learned that many of our customers prefer keeping these odiferous oils to a minimum (this is also an excellent way to enjoy the color changing effect again & again). FYI: it's a popular misconception that color-changing glass is somehow affected by heat or some sort of chemical reaction (both incorrect). Any change in coloration you see is purely the result of precious metals trapped inside the glass during the glassblowing process, which become highlighted in contrast with a dark background of resins & oils as your piece is used over time.
Look folks, there is nothing "top secret" or high-tech about this product. Unlike the multitude of companies peddling overpriced cleaning solutions, we have no need or desire to make this into a profit center. In fact, I've been telling our customers for years: to just go "old school". The most effective mehod for cleaning those hard-to-reach spots has always been plain old Isopropyl & rock salt, followed up with a hot water rinse and a cotton swab if necessary.
For your one-stop-shopping convenience, we've assembled this complete cleaning kit. Of course you're perfectly welcome to go out & source your own ingredients. Ultimately, we just want to make sure everyone is enjoying our handblown glass creations to the fullest!
Glass Paradise FRESHIES™ A great way to care for your art glass investment. Also makes a wonderful gift for any color-changing glass enthusiast.
