This unique lampwork sun catcher features glittering dichroic backed with colorful borosilicate glass, encased within a Pyrex magnifier lens. Measures approx. 4" long with sturdy bail loop on top. Kiln annealed for added strength.

 

I don't know about wearing this one as a pendant... but it certainly makes a good conversation piece. We have it hanging in the window of our studio & it's absolutely beautiful when the sun shines in. So, I'm calling it a "sun catcher". In any case, it's certainly an intriguing sculpture. Everyone wants to know "what is it"? One thing is for sure... you won't see another one like it anywhere!

 

We've done our best to convey the beauty of this piece. However, it's virtually impossible to capture the vibrant dichro colors in a still photo. Dichroic colors will shift when viewed from different angles / under various lighting conditions. To handle it and watch the light shimmer across the multifaceted surfaces within, is to truly perceive this miniature work of art.
